2009: Led team with 67 catches for 984 yards (14.7 avg.) and four touchdowns, also had seven rushes for 73 yards (10.4 avg.).

2008: Named Pro Bowl alternate. Led team in receptions (78), receiving yards (1,331), touchdowns (12) and yards per catch (17.1). Johnson is now second all-time amongst Lions leaders for the most receiving yards in their first or second year and second in receiving average with 60+ receptions. He is fifth in the NFL in receiving yards (1,331), tied for first in receiving touchdowns (12), sixth in yards per reception (17.1) among receivers with 45 receptions, tied for second in 20+-yard receptions (21) and tied for second in 40+-yard receptions (7) and first in 25+-yard touchdown receptions (6).
2007: Rookie Year.  Registered 48 receptions for 756 yards (15.8 avg.) and four touchdowns.

College

As a senior, tied for second in the nation with a 15 touchdown catches, a Georgia Tech record, and only two players in ACC history have caught more (Clarkston Hines, Duke with 17 in 1989 and Torry Holt, NC State with 16 in 1997). Caught 15 of Tech's 25 touchdown passes.
In 2005, First-team all-America by the American Football Coaches' Association (AFCA), the 48th first-team all-America in school history. Also earned second-team all-America honors from Associated Press and Walter Camp, as well as first-team accolades from Rivals.com. The first Tech receiver to earn all-America recognition of any kind since Billy Martin in 1963.
Semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver as a sophomore.
Named first-team all-ACC, just the second true freshman in school history, and the 11th in league history, to earn first-team all-ACC honors.
First-team Freshman All-America by The Sporting News and Rivals.com.

High School
First-team all-state selection (Class AAAA) by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and was Tabbed to the AJC's preseason Super 11.
Caught 40 passes for 736 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior.
Added 34 receptions for 646 yards and 10 scores as a junior for two-year totals of 80 catches, 1,479 yards and 18 TDs.
