Titans' Mryon Rolle gives money for flood aid in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)Rhodes scholar and Titans rookie Myron Rolle hasn't signed his NFL contract yet. That isn't stopping him from making donations to help Tennessee flood victims.
Rolle presented a pair of $1,000 donations Tuesday to the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund and the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund. The money came from the foundation he started in January 2009 after playing his final game at Florida State and before heading to England for his studies.
The safety lasted until the final pick of the sixth round of the NFL Draft. He says he wants to help his new town.
Rolle says he's "not rich'' and he is "not crazy wealthy.'' He says ``it's very pertinent to help in a community'' and that "this is my first way of doing so.''

Support Our Schools
High School Fundraising
![]()
We are dedicated to supporting and preserving high school athletics. Our goal is to eliminate the choice of having to either pay to play a sport in high school, not participate at all or having entire athletic programs eliminated. We have created a basic logoed shirt that will forever be the vehicle for helping to support as many athletic programs in high schools around the state as possible.
With your help, we can ease the financial challenge for athletic departments or the athletes and that we may never get to cheer on in high school, college or professional sports because their school either does not have an athletic department or their family doesn’t have the extra income to pay for participation.
We will donate $1 for every shirt sold to an athletic program that is in desperate need of help to purchase equipment, cover travel expenses, supply uniforms, etc…
If you know of a program that is in danger of being eliminated or cut drastically, please contact us with their contact information and we will help as much as we can!
